How to make it? It's really easy.
You will need:
- sugar (you can use any sugar you want. I have chosen brown sugar)
- oil (any oil will do. The oil is going to help moisturise. You can use regular olive oil, or buy even baby oil. I have added coconut, almond and jojoba oil)
- glycerin (vegetable glycerine you can easily buy, even on eBay.You can skip this if you want)
- fragrance or essential oil (optional)
Pour sugar to the jar you are going to use for your scrub. Add oils you have chosen.
Even regular baby oil :) you will see how quickly it sinks into sugar.
Add as much oil as you’d like, it’s your sugar scrub.
I like it bit more oily so I pour oil until it covers the sugar completely and a little bit of oil floats around my sugar :) At this stage I add 2-3 tablespoons of glycerine.
If I think, by the time I finished, that's too greasy I could add more sugar to counteract that. It's absolutely no problem.
When the oil floats nicely on my sugar I add essential or fragrance oil.
To this scrub I have mix 3 fragrance oil to achieve slight cappuccino coffee smell... Its fab!!
Mix it all together and its ready to use!
To use it, I would need to scoop some out intomy hand and then rub over my body.
Then rinse it off as normal.
I promise you- your skin will be smooth and glowing.
I have made also Vanilla & Grapefruit Sugar Scrub and packed into smaller jar. Little ribbon and card with ''how to use'' to give it a nice touch.
Hope you like it and you will try it at home.
And here is new sugar scrub.
I have used caster sugar, coloured it with pink mica; mixed with a little bit of vanilla fragrance oil! It's so good that I want to eat it.
Part of sugar scrub wasn't coloured and I mixed gently to make two colours in one jar.
I like it :)
